Today we were ask to create a minimalistic image with not too much editing. Just using Kim Klassen’s wonderful texture “Awaken”

I am trying to remember the steps I took to create this image. Canon 5D MKII Canon 50mm F/1.4mm USM lens. ISO 200, 1/1500sec, f1.4
Cropped this image, desaturated and reduced vibrancy of the image. Used the texture and ‘soft overlay’ with some vignetting. Gastada Text – same reduced opacity. Painted a touch of the leaf back using a mask. For any other questions, feel free to just drop me a line. Happy to help out….id
This is GREAT! the simplicity is marvelous. Thanks for the info on how you created the image…I can use all the help I can get and from your explanation on techniques it gives me a lift up on the P/S learning experience. You are a very creative artist my dear friend 🙂
